Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement
Financial Year: 1st June 2024 – 31st May 2025
This statement outlines Servvance’s commitment to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking within our operations and supply chains. We take a zero-tolerance approach to any form of forced labour, servitude, or exploitation. Our goal is to ensure, to the best of our ability, that slavery and human trafficking do not exist within our organization or our partners.
We actively promote a culture where concerns can be raised freely and responsibly. Our management is fully committed to addressing any such concerns with seriousness and immediate action.
Organization Structure and Supply Chain
Servvance is a Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) firm based in Lahore, Pakistan, serving clients primarily in North America and Western Europe, with a vision to expand globally. We specialize in customer support, back-office operations, and digital enablement services for various industries including eCommerce, transport, real estate, SaaS, and more.
Our workforce operates under our registered Pakistani entity, and we maintain relationships with selected global suppliers and technology vendors. As part of our operations, we may collaborate with external contractors and third-party service providers. All our suppliers and partners are required to comply with modern anti-slavery and labour rights standards.
Policies
Servvance maintains a suite of internal policies that reinforce our commitment to ethical business practices and the prevention of modern slavery:
Anti-Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy
Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy
Equal Opportunity and Inclusion Policy
Recruitment and Employment Integrity Policy
Code of Ethical Conduct
Labour Rights and Fair Compensation Policy
Whistleblower Protection Policy
These policies are available to employees and partners and are embedded in our onboarding and operational workflows.
Due Diligence and Supplier Evaluation
We exercise caution and thorough vetting when forming relationships with new clients, vendors, or partners. Our due diligence process includes:
Verifying legal and corporate registration status
Reviewing ownership and director information
Examining digital presence and credibility
Authenticating tax IDs or VAT numbers (where applicable)
Conducting financial risk assessments where relevant
We avoid doing business with any individual or entity found to be in breach of labour standards or modern slavery laws.
Our employment contracts in Pakistan strictly adhere to national minimum wage laws. We ensure no employee receives compensation below legal thresholds and regularly review payroll to ensure compliance.
Contractual Commitments with Partners
All contracts and agreements with suppliers or clients will include clauses requiring compliance with anti-slavery laws. Non-compliance may lead to immediate termination of agreements.
Reporting and Whistleblowing
Servvance is committed to maintaining a work environment where concerns about unethical conduct — including forced labour or trafficking — can be raised confidentially and without fear of retaliation.
We actively encourage employees to report concerns via:
Direct reporting to line managers or HR
Our formal whistleblowing system
Anonymous internal reporting tools (available in the Employee Portal)
All concerns are investigated promptly and fairly. Disciplinary action will be taken against any employee or partner found complicit in unethical practices.
Ongoing Risk Mitigation
We are committed to continuous improvement in identifying and addressing risks of modern slavery. Our efforts include:
Regular audits of internal and external processes
Monitoring regions and industries prone to higher risks
Collaborating only with partners who reflect our ethical standards
Safeguarding whistleblowers and taking their concerns seriously
Training and Awareness
Servvance provides mandatory training on modern slavery and human trafficking to all employees, with tailored modules for HR, recruitment, and vendor management staff. New hires are given a full overview of our zero-tolerance stance as part of their onboarding.
We aim to equip our workforce with the knowledge and awareness to detect signs of exploitation, both within and outside the workplace.
